This is just a one-off – not a normal Blog. I wanted to know wether any outdoor gear is made in Svalbard. And yes – I found something.

It’s not for sale as a product. But if you would visit Svalbard (aka Spitsbergen) – and you like their Kitchen Box – feel free to contact Alt i 3!

This box is made to cook with a petrol stove in the snow. It’s save. The stove will not melt down into the snow. Protected against the wind. And really – it looks great.

I like it. I used to have something like this when I was making a wintertrekking in Svalbard many years ago. This one looks really nice.
