I thought Europe had 50 outdoor manufacturers. I was wrong.

News eposide 1

When I started InEurope.eu, I had a simple assumption: there were maybe 50, perhaps a few more, manufacturers of outdoor gear and clothing still making things in Europe. Enough to build a modest directory. Enough to prove a point.

I was wrong — and that mistake became a mission.

After months of digging through trade registers, contacting brands directly, and crossing borders I didn’t expect to cross, we now have over 250 verified outdoor manufacturers across Europe. Add even more casual clothing brands, and the number keeps climbing.

Europe is not losing its manufacturing base. It’s hiding it.

That’s the problem InEurope.eu exists to solve. Consumers and buyers spend weeks searching for local alternatives that were there all along — in Portugal, Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania, Belgium and most other countries on the European continent. Brands with deep craftsmanship and no audience beyond their home market.

This platform is the bridge. Not a catalogue. A connection.

We’re only getting started.
