Gas canisters add bulk and expire, but wood is everywhere—even wet.
OutdoorWerk’s stoves turn pinecones or bark into 1000°C flames faster than gas rivals.
Swiss precision makes self-reliant cooking viable year-round.

Brand Intro

OutdoorWerk GmbH was founded in 2013 by Robert Bless and Christian Weber in Gibswil, Zurich Oberland, Switzerland.
They craft stoves, knives, and gear for outdoor independence using local suppliers—over 90% produced within 10km.
Philosophy centers on durable tools that minimize carried fuel while maximizing efficiency.

Inspiring Story

From snowbound survival training in 2010, Bless and Weber prototyped their wood stove over five years.
Dozens of iterations yielded the Camp model: 500g wood cooks pasta for two, even from damp sources.
Tested in harsh Alps conditions, it prioritizes renewability over disposables.

Who is this for?

You bushcraft or bikepack where fuel canisters drag you down, foraging twigs along the trail.
You want premium sub-800g stoves for quick cooking anywhere—from wet wood or bark.
Not cheap, but Swiss rust-resistant spring steel endures for decades.
