Pétrone was founded in 2018 by Nicolas Hernandez and Marion Dubuc, former fashion industry professionals who wanted to change how men shop for underwear. Based in Pessan, France, the brand designs undergarments, socks, and casual wear using premium natural fibres. Every piece is manufactured in Portugal using a custom blend of Tencel Lyocell, organic cotton, and elastane, tested for comfort and durability before reaching customers.
Inspiring Story
The journey began with a simple observation: men were settling for poorly made, uncomfortable underwear because better options didn’t exist at reasonable prices. Nicolas, with a decade in retail at Galeries Lafayette, and Marion, a digital communication expert, spent months searching Europe for the right production partner. They found it in Portugal—family-run factories with 30+ years of experience, where they developed their signature 170g/m² fabric: 47% micromodal, 47% organic cotton, 6% elastane. The result? A boxer so comfortable it disappears when you wear it.
