They design ocean-inspired clothing for men and women — knitwear, casual tops, outerwear and now a full swimwear range — with production rooted in European ateliers, primarily in Portugal. The brand takes its name from the fact that two thirds of our planet is covered by ocean. Their philosophy centres on timeless design, pre-order drops to avoid overproduction, and materials chosen for their low environmental impact.
Inspiring Story
The name is both a fact and a manifesto: two thirds of the Earth is ocean. TWOTHIRDS was built in Barcelona by a team of ocean lovers who believed fashion and marine conservation were not mutually exclusive. Over time, they moved away from seasonal trend cycles and towards pre-order drops — making only what is needed, when it is needed. Their swimwear launch follows that same logic: ECONYL® (regenerated polyamide made partly from discarded fishing nets), SEAQUAL® (derived from recovered ocean plastic waste), and recycled polyester transform marine waste into wearable, durable pieces. Each purchase is a small act of ocean restoration.
