Gear Swifts is a one-person brand founded and operated by Gesh in Sofia, Bulgaria. Gesh designs, prototypes and hand-sews ultralight shelters, clothing and accessories using Dyneema™ composite fabrics, ripstop nylon, titanium and carbon fibre. Every piece enters the market only after months of personal testing on trails and outdoor adventures.

Inspiring Story

The brand began not in a factory, but in the rain. During a mountain hike years ago, Gesh and his companions were soaked through — waterproof materials had failed. Searching for a solution, he discovered Dyneema™ composite fabric (then called cuben fibre) and sewed a simple poncho. It held. That poncho became a tarp, the tarp became a bivi, the bivi became a tent — and eventually, friends wanted the gear too. Gear Swifts was born from necessity, stitch by stitch.
